Terms and Conditions

  1. General
    • By submitting this form you agree to abide by all terms and conditions set out below by PPIS (“the Organiser”) for Walk With Women 2025 (“the Event”).
    • The Organiser may accept, reject, or limit any entry without giving reason.
    • The Organiser may photograph, film or otherwise record the Event and use any participant’s image or likeness for future Event-related publicity, without compensation.
    • To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Organiser is not liable for any personal injury, death, property loss or damage arising from participation in the Event.
    • The Organiser may cancel, postpone, or amend the Event at any time. All fees and donations received will remain with PPIS and no refunds will be made.

    • *Participation support fees are treated as donations to PPIS. Participation support fee and donations will be channelled to PPIS services for its beneficiaries.
    • Your participation fee counts toward the Walk With Women campaign total as Participation Revenue. It is not tax-deductible. Only donations is tax deductible.
    • Participation closes 30 October 2025, 23:59 hrs.
    • Incomplete, inaccurate, or duplicate entries may be rejected.
  3. Fund-Raising
    • Participants are encouraged (but not obliged) to raise additional funds. All donations flow directly to PPIS programmes for women and families.
    • Fund-raising pages and leader-boards are provided within the Event portal.
  4. Participation Details
    • Event window: 1 August 2025 00:00 hrs – 31 October 2025 23:59 hrs (“Event Period”).
    • Distances may be clocked anywhere (indoor or outdoor) using:
      • Automatic sync via Strava, or
      • Manual upload with screenshot showing date, distance, duration.
    • Upon each manual activity submission, edits are not permitted after submission.
    • The Organiser may disqualify entries deemed unclear, incomplete, or fraudulent.
  5. Safety
    • Participants are responsible for their own health and safety. Seek medical clearance prior to participating, if required.
    • Always observe traffic rules and local safety advisories when walking outdoors.
  6. Release & Indemnity
    • By taking part, you confirm you are in suitable physical condition and voluntarily assume all risks.
    • You (and your heirs or assigns) release and indemnify the Organiser, its officers, staff, sponsors and agents from any liability arising directly or indirectly from your participation, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  7. Data Protection
    • Personal data collected is used solely for Event administration, donor stewardship, and statutory reporting.
    • By registering you consent to such use in accordance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012.
